飛び越えた先は、激情的に憤り、激昂する反抗心だった！
CDアルバムとして全国発売された『Made in Hope』『Colorful Life』で美麗なエレクトロニカを鳴らし、
実験精神に回帰した『Born To Die』など幅広い音楽性を見せるHouse Of Tapes。
彼の最高傑作と呼ばれる叙情的なシングル”Clear Tears”のリリースの次の曲は、憤りと反抗心の塊だった。

Q. 叙情的なシングル”Clear Tears”リリース後、なぜ今回は、ブッ壊れてる曲をリリースしたのですか？
↓
A. 前提として、色々なフラストレーションを抱えていて、特に、最近の日本の商業音楽シーンや政府に不満がありました。
そしてたまたま、僕の原点であるNIRVANAをまた聴きなおしていたんです。
なので、僕ならではのパンクさを全開にしたものを作りたいなと。
Q. ”Clear Tears”のような曲の路線でいくかと思っていましたが。

A. 立て続けに同じことしていても、面白くないので。メランコリーな気分の時に、また情緒的な曲は作ると思いますよ。
Q. 先程、NIRVANAの影響でこの曲を作ったと仰っていましたが、具体的にどの辺りを意識されたのですか？
↓
A. ドラムの鳴り方はデイヴ・グロール(NIRVANAのドラマー)を意識しました。あとはノイジーな所とかです。
それと、Nurse with Woundも意識しました。

Q. After the release of the lyrical single "Clear Tears", why did you release a broken song this time?

A. As a premise, I had various frustrations, especially the recent Japanese commercial music scene and the government.
And it happened that I was listening to NIRVANA, which is my starting point, again.
So, I wanted to make something that was full of punkness that was unique to me.
Q. I was wondering if I would go on a song line like "Clear Tears".
↓
A. It's not fun to do the same thing in quick succession. When I feel like melancholy, I think I'll make another emotional song.
Q. You mentioned earlier that you made this song under the influence of NIRVANA. What were you specifically aware of?
↓
A. The way the drums sound was conscious of Dave Grohl (NIRVANA drummer). The rest is noisy.
I was also aware of Nurse with Wound.
